A Reason to Vote for McCain
Once again, a celebrity has shaken the very foundations of American politics by threatening to leave the country if things don't go her way. Joining the ranks of Baldwin (I forget which one), Redford, and Cruise is Susan Sarandon, the rapidly aging movie star who consented to a recent interview wherein she shared her wisdom with the nation:
"If McCain gets in, it's going to be very, very dangerous. It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I'll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don't know. We're at an abyss."
If Sarandon follows suit, she'll stay in the country despite her threats, bless her little heart.

Hey Susan, just thought you should know in this country we have what’s called a 2 party system. It’s an intricate system of checks and balances. If you want a Susan Sarandon system good luck finding it in another country.
never underestimate the seductiveness of believing that momentous things are happening around us, and we're in the know about them...
I just read this and thought I would pass it on.
Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who sent troops to Iraq, left office in 2006. His predecessor withdrew the troops. and now Berlusconi's back, in a landslide victory and is a Bush suporter?
Canada’s Prime Minister is also pro Bush. I wonder if Susan bothered to check this out before she made that statement.
One more thing Susan should know about:

"Shaken the foundations" indeed! It always cracks me up when these celebrities threaten to leave the country if their candidate isn't elected. Julia Roberts said the same thing about the last election. Talk about ego. It's as if we're all going, "Oh no, so and so is threatening to leave the country if the election doesn't go her way." Yeah, what would I do if Susan left. She's such an integral part of my life.
Oh, and I've "shaken the foundations of the bloogging community" by actually posting a blog and adding a couple of pictures.
