Beverly Sills
You probably read that Bevery Sills died a week or so ago. I've never been a big opera fan but I've always liked the arias and other songs that opera singers perform at recitals. My wife and I had a chance to see Beverly Sills back in the early 1970's and she ended her concert as she did every concert with this little song. She never recorded it but I recently found this audio clip on the web recently so I thought I'd share it. Just turn off any outside noise and feel the goose bumps. http://win3xp.blog.co.uk/

That was absolutely beautiful!! What a voice! It doesn't seem fair that a little bit of that power and clarity couldn't have been passed around a little bit more....
and thanks for the guitar tips! :) hopefully by next summer I'll be able to play a chord (in my dreams I'll be able to do more than that, but we'll see). I'll be ready for as many tips as my head can hold.
